Props

So I've been gathering props for my photos for padiddle designs and I wanted to share some of the things I have found.

Flash photography

So my flash broke on my camera, I needed an external flash or a new camera both were outside my budget.
So I looked on eBay and found this! Too good to be true $7. With free shipping!!! WHAT!! And it WORKS! It came with 4 color filters(which I don't know how to use) and a case. These things go for around $500. Incredible. Marcy is going to come show me how to use it correctly this afternoon.

So I guess I work at moxie now.

Who would have thought, they called me in for an interview to do wedding hair. It's just about perfect since it will only be on Saturdays. God is good right? This pretty much just fell in my lap. Well so I'm hoping the wedding hair money can fund my new clothing business. And I can still stay home with my munchkins. ; )

New boys line is here

Making up a lot of boys vests and bow ties, and driving caps. Classy. Made from old men's suit jackets and some vintage leather buttons and leather faux pockets. Ittoook about a week and a half to perfect the patterns but I love the way they turned out.

On the way to church lauren was talking to me about when jesus comes back an she said when jesus comes, I'm gonna run up to him and hug his leg. Perspective. I love it. Probably the last year for leg hugging. Sad. : (

Say uncle, say uncle.....

So Angela and Rece were wrestling the other day and I heard Angela say, "say your an uncle, say your an uncle!" Then Rece shouted, "I'm an uncle!" I laughed so hard.

Spring Fever

I grew up in the country with 5 acres a huge garden, a lake, chickens, cows, and horses. Now I live in the city, but I still want to grow veggies and be a country girl, but it's challenging with 1/8 acre lot which is taken up mostly with a house. Last year I made due with 2 small flower beds beside the house but I'm thinking of digging up the whole (small) back yard this year. I'll have my own little fruit and veggie stand out in front of my house.......wait for it.......
